Color Intelligence has released Look Designer 2.6 – an update to the plug-in for DaVinci Resolve and After Effects that emulates the look of analog film.
Look Designer blends advanced digital Color Management with conventional analog film laboratory techniques, where the fusion brings the analog way of photochemical image processing to Film and TV productions.
Version 2.6 adds a Crunch control, a new interactive control "emulating [the] high-contrast behavior of [the] film print process", and new negative, print stock and camera profiles. Here are the changes according to the email newsletter:
Look Designer for DaVinci Resolve is available on Windows, macOS, and Linux, while the version for After Effects and Premiere Pro works on macOS only. Both editions cost $490 for a perpetual license, $24/month, and $249/year.
