Release Date for Metal Gear Solid Delta Leaked

It's coming this November.

The release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater could be scheduled for November 2024, specifically November 17, according to a Twitter post by US retailer GameStop.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing this article, the post has been removed. However, thanks to IGN, we were able to obtain a screenshot of it:

Announced in October of the previous year, Metal Gear Solid Delta is an upcoming remake of the iconic action-adventure stealth game, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Its first trailer provided an initial in-engine look at the remake and confirmed that the game will be powered by Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5.

Earlier this year, during the "production hotline" event hosted by Konami, producer Noriaki Okamura revealed that the game's graphics and operability would be updated to a "modern style." However, core elements such as sound, scenarios, and game design will remain true to the original to preserve the authenticity of the iconic franchise. It has been confirmed that the original game's voice lines will be featured in the remake without any changes.

As we wrap up this article, don't forget to check out the latest trailer for the game, showcasing some of the combat gameplay:
