It's almost as if Minecraft Spleef met earthbending.
Game Developer Hannes Rahm, whom we recently had the pleasure of speaking to about his studio's project Lone Ruin, has shared an impressive and satisfying "voxel manipulation" mechanic made with Godot Engine.
In fact, it's just a bunch of RigidBody3D cubes with Freeze on until they get hit or sucked up. Described by other users as Minecraft Spleef mixed with earthbending, it's a simple yet effective mechanic that would be fun to utilize in a stress relief game concept as well. According to the developer, the main inspiration behind it was the telekinesis attack from Remedy Entertainment's Control, allowing players to launch and destroy various objects with force.
