The First Look at NVIDIA's Collosal New Building Voyager

The giant 750,000-square-foot building joins Endeavor at NVIDIA's Santa Clara, California, headquarters.

In February 2022, NVIDIA opened up Voyager, its new building which makes up a major part of the company's Santa Clara headquarters. Recently, consumer electronics news site CNET got access to an exclusive tour of Voyager and shared plenty of shots, both panoramic and from various locations.

The giant 750,000-square-foot building is located close to the earlier Endeavor building which NVIDIA built to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

The two buildings, both of them being named after Star Trek starships, were previously rumored to be joined by a footbridge, although apparently, judging by the photos, there is no direct bridge between them. Instead, between the two massifs, we see a walkway lined with trees and a "trellis" structure with solar panels above.

The walls inside the Voyager building itself are covered with plants with the central part of the building representing a "mountain" where staffers can meet, work, and enjoy the view, while the "valleys" at each side of the "mountain" separate the font face from the offices.

The company emphasized open spaces in the building – there are practically no traditional closed offices in Voyager, with the exception of several meeting rooms. At the same time, employees still have their own office space, in which they can have some time alone.
