Netflix has released an official trailer for PLUTO, the anime series based on Osamu Tezuka's manga, which is coming very soon.
PLUTO is a highly-anticipated anime series that draws inspiration from Osamu Tezuka's famous manga, Astro Boy. More specifically, it takes cues from the story titled The Biggest Robot on Earth, where Sultan Chochi Chochi Ababa the Third constructs a formidable robot named Pluto to engage in intense battles against seven other murderous robots.

The story of PLUTO unfolds in a society where humans and robots live side by side. At its core, the narrative revolves around Gesicht, a robot detective working for Europol. What is his mission? Unravel the truth lurking behind the tragic and unexpected murder of Montblanc, a highly revered Swiss robot who had valiantly served during the 1939th Asian War.
As Gesicht investigates the murder of Montblanc, an astonishing revelation awaits him – there are no human clues at the crime scene. Instead, he uncovers a malicious and sinister force responsible for the alarming events that have unfolded under his vigilant watch. The gripping trailer also offers a glimpse of the devastation caused by this unknown perpetrator, leaving viewers captivated and eager to uncover the truth.
"Whether it be a robot or a human, there is a devil inside them," said Gesicht in the trailer.
PLUTO, consisting of eight episodes, is set to make its on Netflix on Thursday, October 26. With production led by Genco and animation handled by Studio M2, you can expect a visually stunning and captivating experience.
Adding to the excitement, Yugo Kanno, well-known for his work in the anime manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, has joined forces with the two production companies as the music composer for PLUTO.
