Try These Game Development Maya Tools for Free in January

The tools from the Loading studio allow you to move the MetaHuman rig to custom mesh characters, turn 2D images into 3D models, transfer skin data, and more.

Are you looking for easy-to-use kits that will make your game development journey simpler and more enjoyable? Then take a look at these art tools for Maya from the Loading studio, which will help you achieve your dream vision quickly.

Meta Transfer is what you want if you work with Epic Games' MetaHuman. It moves the MetaHuman rig to custom mesh characters, including the joints. It supports custom topology and corrective morphs, generates DNA files, and works in MetaHuman Animator as well.

Creating 3D models can be very time-consuming, so developers from Loading came up with a tool that will turn your 2D images into 3D objects that can be adjusted afterward.

To streamline your workflow, use Game Batch Exporter, which does what you expect it to do. It works with Maya's game exporter and can batch-export FBX animations fast.

The Game Exporter also transfers FBX animations and supports perforce as source control with that. And if you need to quickly and easily transfer skin data between Maya files, there is a tool for this, too. Finally, Loading offers a useful Project File Manager so you can search your project Maya files without a problem.

The best part of this? All of these tools will be available for free in beta for 30 days in January, you just need to sign up for it.

Loading is using these tools in its own projects. Right now, it's working on One of Us, a CGI cinematic piece, and BIODRIVE, an immersive zombie shooter.
