Unity Completes Its Merger with ironSource

Unity claims that following the merger, the company will "remain committed" to developing features on all platforms but notes that benefits from the merger will be "particularly strong" for mobile game developers. 

Riccitiello also responded to concerns that the company might shift its focus to mobile games and applications. The CEO noted that while mobile is indeed "a huge platform for games", Unity still "remains committed to developing features for PCs, consoles, and XR." 

At the same time, Unity head stressed that benefits from the merger with ironSource will be "particularly strong" for mobile game developers will as they will have more opportunities for monetization.

Riccitiello acknowledged that users might wonder how Unity will integrate and introduce ironSource products but said that the company is "committed to moving quickly and transparently to integrate our technologies to deliver the best tools and services" and will share more details about this integration in the near future.
