This version adds new Simulation Layers to distribute materials over terrain.
In case you missed it
BiteTheBytes has launched World Creator 2023.4, a new version of its real-time GPU-based terrain and landscape creation tool.
The main feature of the release is the new Simulation Layers for distributing sediment and related materials like sand and fluids over terrain. As noted by CG Channel, you can control the distribution pattern for the sediment by referencing Simulation Layers in Filter and Material Distributions or painting directly on the terrain.

Other changes to the tool include a new Steepness Distribution, Stochastic Distribution in color map export, rain maps and soil maps for erosion, new Camera Grouping for scene adjustments, gradient image presets for gradients, and support for infinite width and fall-off values in Path Layers.
The team also fixed the export issue that caused seams along tile borders when exporting large terrains.
The prices for World Creator start at $289 and grow depending on the number of employees at the company.
