Great Sculpture from Sampo Rask

Great exercise in UE4 and Substance Designer by 3D artist Sampo Rask.

3D artist Sampo Rask has recently published some images of his finished model of “Paul” – a fictional character with some awesome shotgun. The model itself was sculpted in Zbrush and painted in Substance Painter. The final product was then rendered with Unreal Engine 4.

The sculpt looks quite outstanding. From the couple of the available images we can notice incredibly detailed shirt, with rich embroidery and amazing color combination. The face and the hair also look quite great. The way gloves and boots feel seem a little bit artificial, but the author did not necessarily want to perceive the realistic look with this project.
