The HD Beauty of Star Wars: Battlefront

Here are some of the in-game screenshots from the newest Star Wars: Battlefront game, created with the help of Frostbite engine. It looks like nothing you’ve seen before.

Electronic Arts has finally released Star Wars: Battlefront – the newest game in the critically acclaimed series of space opera action. The title was created by a talented team of developers at EA DICE. The artists and engineers managed to create an incredible detailed world, filled with lots of tiny details.

Apart from the snowy landscapes we’ve seen in beta, there’s a number of new areas, which we didn’t have a lot of time to look at before. There’s so much stuff here, that you could literally spend hours studying the environment. You can definitely see some touches of Simon Barle and his vegetation magic (he’s actually working on a new scene – so keep your eyes open).

The game looks absolutely amazing and it comes with a price. You can check out the benchmark study by Gamers Nexus. These guys show how the game performs on top notch PCs. This vide actually says it all.

EA DICE is really pushing the technology forward by creating dynamic feature rich games with delightful visuals. There’s a whole bunch of various graphical effects used in Frostbite, but I guess to enjoy the whole range of reflections, dynamic lighting, PBR textures and high poly models you have to have a beefy PC.

You just got to grab it to see the awesome work of DICE’s artists. It’s incredible.
