Just three years after the previous one.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has broken its own record and reached a peak of 1,320,219 concurrent players, according to SteamDB. Quite an achievement, especially considering it was released nearly 11 years ago.
The shooter holds the third place in the chart, giving way to PUBG and Lost Ark, but it crowns the 24-hour peak list, being the only game with over a million players.
Here are the games with the highest concurrent player count:
- PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS (3,257,248)
- Lost Ark (1,325,305)
- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (1,320,219)
- Dota 2 (1,295,114)
- Cyberpunk 2077 (1,054,388)
- Elden Ring (953,426)
- New World (913,634)
- Hogwarts Legacy (879,308)
- Goose Goose Duck (702,845)
- Apex Legends (511,676)
The new record took place at the end of IEM Katowice 2023, a tournament that finished yesterday. CS:GO's previous peak about three years ago counted 1,308,983 people playing at the same time.
