The story is set in a small, isolated town in eastern Poland in late 1992, where a friend of the main hero, Bartek, vanished making the character unravel the truth behind his disappearance and the sinister force consuming the town.

The town, Jeziorne-Kolonia, is said to be plagued by an eerie presence, with its streets overrun by a slimy substance and its inhabitants and surroundings deteriorating. The game is a survival experience where you need to scavenge for supplies and weapons to fight grotesque monsters that hide in the town's darkest corners.
What grabs the attention here, is how the team came up with stylish pixel art aesthetics boosted by dynamic lighting and camera rotation, allowing players to explore the hand-drawn environments from multiple angles.
