Supernova Technologies utilized its custom Nova UI framework to accomplish the goal.
Developers from Supernova Technologies have recently showcased an impressive recreation of Apple Vision Pro's eye-tracking-based UI on the Meta Quest Pro headset, built using a custom Nova UI framework for Unity.
First noticed by UploadVR, the recreation presents the app grid featured in the Vision Pro introduction video with Quest Pro's color passthrough serving as the backdrop and faithfully replicates Apple's interaction system, which relies on gaze and pinch gestures. Supernova Technologies also notes that the app buttons showcased in the demo are purely for demonstration purposes and do not actually function.
"This APK is the built version of the VisionOSDemo.unity scene found in this project. It requires eye tracking, so it'll only work on the Quest Pro, and both hand and eye tracking must be enabled," comments the team. "For most reliable interactions, we highly recommend running the eye tracking calibration from the Quest settings before first use, roll up any long sleeves you might be wearing (pinch detection is less reliable with long sleeves in our testing), and make sure you're in a well-lit environment."
