That's about half of the original team.
A week ago, KRAFTON announced its acquisition of Tango Gameworks and Hi-Fi Rush IP. Tango Studio is allowed to continue working on its beloved rhythm action game to provide “fresh and exciting experiences for fans.” KRAFTON recently shared more details regarding the acquisition with their investors.
According to gaming reporter Stephen Totilo, who commented to Twitter User Genki, "KRAFTON plans to transfer approximately 50 development staff from Tango Gameworks to KRAFTON's Japan subsidiary.” The studio had a bit more than 100 employees, so that would be around half of the members moving over to the new owner. They will “continue to work on new projects, including the expansion of the HI-FI RUSH IP, at KRAFTON."
There is no news regarding what happened to the other half of the original employees in the studio, and considering it’s been three months since Microsoft shut it down, there is a chance that they have found a job opportunity elsewhere.

It was also mentioned that the acquisition deal had been in effect since day one of the month. Because the studio was shut down while the acquisition was happening, KRAFTON, who "wanted to inherit the entire development team," conducted “acqui-hire,” with the main focus being retaining the staff.
KRAFTON’s official website, which lists all the studios showing their main projects, does not include Tango yet.
