Check Out Quad Maker That Enhances Retopology in Blender

Quad Maker speeds up the retopology process, integrating with the default Blender tools.

Quad Maker is a set of tools for retopology in Blender that transforms objects into quads, which is under development yet. The tools in the set work with each other, providing a faster retopology than Blender's default functionality. It is inspired by such tools as Maya's Quad Draw and aims to provide 3D artists working in Blender with a similar experience of faster retopology.

Take a look at the informal overview of testing the add-on's alpha version:

The toolset automatically sets and customizes Blender retopology settings. It features such functions as as adding point vertices and filling them with quads, extruding edges in single, loop, or ring modes and creating faces, drawing out strips of quads on a target surface, and more.

The creators of the toolset explain how to install the toolset in a step-by-step instruction. After installation, the Quad Maker's Main Menu can be seen on the left of the viewport in Edit Mode, and the text at the bottom of the window displays Keyboard Shortcuts.

The toolset can also analyze the mesh for the number of tris, quads and ngons, as well as the number and type of edge poles.

Testers of the add-on's beta version are invited:
