Check Out This Minecraft-Style Game with Combat, Building & Farming

Lay of the Land is an upcoming indie project with a vast and diverse voxel world.

Lay of the Land is an indie voxel sandbox adventure game created by a solo developer known under the name of Southern Cross Interactive.

The game is set in a fantasy world where everything is physically simulated. It is a dangerous and mysterious environment where "fires spread and burn and water flows and floods." The world has multiple locations and biomes with unique wildlife, and players can travel to overgrown ruins or embark on a journey to find hidden treasure in a temple.

Lay of the Land allows players to choose how they will make their way through mysterious lands – use powerful melee weapons, cast spells, or stay clear of combat and strike from the shadows.

The in-game world is fully destructible, and players encounter various bosses and monsters. In addition to all this, the game features building and farming: players can create their own buildings, from the simplest homes to impressive castles, and plant seeds that will grow.
