If you've watched Star Wars: Ahsoka, you might remember the impressive shipyards of Corellia, Han Solo's homeworld. Now you have a chance to look closer at it as Environment Artist David Arno Schwaiger showed his work on the planet.

Schwaiger completed the work for Industrial Light & Magic, he was part of the generalist team that created the shipyards. In particular, he modeled and shaded assets, including engines, shield domes, cranes, crates, and architectural elements, and was responsible for set dressing some areas of the shipyard and its outer surrounding pillars.

Additionally, Schwaiger created the planet Corellia itself: "I built the planet asset with all its layers which was later used for rendering of the final shots for the show."

This is not the only area the artist made for the movie. He also worked on Seatos and designed the red tree forest, which was used as the background for filming on ILM's StageCraft.

"The planet sets the background for various establishing shots and action-loaded space battle sequences. All leading to the epic flight of the so-called "Purrgils" (space whales) towards another galaxy."

Schwaiger has a lot of great environments to show on his ArtStation, all perfectly crafted and futuristic. You can also find more detailed assets there.
