Counter-Strike 2's Recent Reviews on Steam Shifted to Mixed

Most players are criticizing the game for its technical issues, such as freezing, poor optimization, etc., while others are disappointed that there is no longer the ability to "twerk".

Recently released, Counter-Strike 2 has gathered a lot of reviews among gamers, which is around 7.5 million reviews, most of them are "very positive". Well, of course, there are negative ones as well, especially with criticizing poor optimization. The primary focus of negative feedback revolves around performance issues, with players criticizing CS2 for low FPS, freezing, and other technical difficulties, even when playing on high-end PCs.

On October 9, 2023, the recent positive reviews for Counter-Strike 2 on Steam decreased to 69%. This decline occurred approximately one and a half weeks after the online shooter's release.

Since September 28th, Counter-Strike 2 has been accumulating at least 1,900 negative reviews per day. Players primarily express dissatisfaction with the overall state of the game, particularly highlighting numerous bugs, performance issues, and hit registration problems. Many devoted fans of the online shooter are urging Valve to restore the ability to play CS: GO, at least until the developers complete the necessary improvements for Counter-Strike 2.

A significant portion of the negative reviews stems from the removal of the ability to "twerk" in Counter-Strike 2. This refers to a small animation resembling a popular dance move that players had discovered within the online shooter. However, it is crucial to note that while there are numerous negative reviews regarding the absence of "twerking," players' primary discontent still revolves around the technical shortcomings of Counter-Strike 2.
