Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course Sales Surpassed 1 Million Copies

The DLC managed to hit the 1 million mark just two weeks after its release.

Cuphead DLC, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course was released just two weeks ago, and it already sold over 1 million copies. The developer Studio MDHR revealed the news on Twitter, thanking all the fans for their support.

The DLC is selling at a similar pace as the original game, which also managed to hit the million mark in two weeks. However, Cuphead was not immediately released on all platforms and was only available on PC and Xbox at launch.

To celebrate the first million copies of The Delicious Last Course sold, the developers launched a big draw. The winners have a chance to get a Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, or PS5 console.

To enter the contest, players need to follow Studio MDHR on Twitter, retweet the post dedicated to the milestone, and leave a comment with the word "Cuphead" adding the name of the console they would like to get. The developer didn't specify when the results of the contest will be announced.

As the creators of Cuphead mentioned earlier, The Delicious Last Course will be the first and last expansion for the game. Initially, the studio considered the option of releasing the DLC as a standalone game but eventually changed its mind.

Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course was announced back in 2018 and was slated for release in 2019. The studio, however, delayed the launch a few times – first, to avoid crunch and later because of the pandemic.

The DLC came out four years after its announcement, on June 30, 2022. It is available for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows.
