The rig was created by David Llopis using Advanced Skeleton.
David Llopis, Lead Animator at DNEG, has presented an amazing dragon rig, which is his first rig created in Maya 2022 with Advanced Skeleton, a rigging and animation toolset for creating character setups in Autodesk Maya.
Based on a model from Angel Diaz Romero, this free-to-use rig can help you create a vivid dinosaur and make it alive with a series of fun animations, such as walking, running, shaking its head, and opening its mouth. You are encouraged to have some try around with your imagination and creativity and share it with the creator.
Earlier, Junior 3D Character Animator Sahil Banik shared a stylized 3D Spider-Man rig for Maya, which is also free to download. The rig has cartoony outlines, different eye shapes, and customizable body fat.
You can try out the dragon rig yourself by downloading it for free on this Gumroad page and join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Reddit, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
