Epic Games Released RealityScan 1.0.3 for iOS
It's smoother and faster now.
Epic Games has released RealityScan 1.0.3, an update to the free 3D scanning app for mobile phones that helps turn images into 3D models. The software now produces smoother, finalized results three to four times faster and enables twice faster uploads using HEIC images.
In addition, the update introduces improvements to .fbx exports headed to Unreal Engine 5.
Developed in collaboration with Capturing Reality and Quixel, RealityScan offers accessible photogrammetry to a broader audience. It is available for iOS now, with an Android version coming later.
