Experimenting With Geometry Nodes In Blender

TomekS shared a couple of awesome examples of how Geometry Nodes can be used.

TomekS, a game developer at Lykke Studios, likes to experiments with new technologies. The developer's current interests are procedural techniques and different shaders. Check out a couple of procedural setups made with Geomtry Nodes by the artist.

The first procedural work we wanted to share is a cool stylized tower with adjustable heights and a couple of extra details.

Also, check out a cool Lego generator that lets the developer quickly generate new details and adjust shapes. The developer was also kind enough to share the final graph.

Finally, the artist shared a look at procedural pipes driven by a polyline using Blender's geometry nodes. "This is a very popular exercise in Houdini, was curious if it's doable in Blender (3.0 alpha), and with a few "dirty" tricks it most definitely is," noted the developer.

Make sure to give the developer a follow and check out more works on Twitter. Don't forget to share your own experiments with Geometry Nodes and join our new Reddit pageour new Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
