Fable Developer Finds Commemorative Plaque on eBay 12 Years Later

The plaque had been missing since 2010.

Fable developer Mike Ducker found the commemorative plaque given to him for the game on eBay after it had been missing for 12 years. The plaque had come a long way: after being presumed stolen in 2010, it "ended up in a recycling center auction in Northampton around 2014, then sat in a collection until it went on sale on eBay recently."

Thankfully, after Ducker was informed about the plaque's location and contacted the seller, he got it back for the price they paid for it, which is much less than the original owner was willing to pay. Ducker said he paid the seller more than they asked for and gifted a Fable 1 standee from his collection of memorabilia.

As for how the plaque disappeared in the first place, Ducker shared that it was probably stolen from his house together with his guitars, although it could have happened before or after that.
