Fan Printed Out Elden Ring Chess Set

Now you can reimagine what happened before the game events.

Elden Ring keeps inspiring players to create all kinds of things, digital and hand-crafted. One of them is a chess set presented by creator GreenyRepublic on Reddit. You can find all the important characters here: Marika and Rennala as the queens, Godfrey and Radagon as the kings, Tree Sentinels as knights, Miriel the Turtle Pope as bishops, Walking Mausoleums as rooks, and Living Jars as pawns.

With so many characters in one place, you can even reimagine The Shattering, as The Gamer proposed, or other pre-Elden Ring events.

The pieces were taken from the 3D printing website called Cults, then shaped using a resin printer, and painted by GreenyRepublic. The creator says the set was made as a birthday present for a friend's partner.

Redditors admired the project but questioned some character choices. This, in turn, kindled a conversation about various names for chess pieces in different countries – a very interesting read, check it out.

If you want to leave your compliments to GreenyRepublic or discuss cultural chess differences, find the original post here.
