"It’s been an exciting few months… I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as IP Director of Far Cry at Ubisoft," wrote Holmes. "We have big things in store. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you want to be a part of the next evolution of this great brand!"
You can find the original LinkedIn post here. According to the latest Far Cry story from journalist Tom Henderson, Ubisoft was developing Far Cry 7 and a separate multiplayer game based on the franchise. Both games were reportedly set to launch closer to the fall of 2025.
The story also suggests the team is now using the Snowdrop engine instead of the Dunia Engine. What's your take on the franchise? What can Ubisoft do to take it to the top again? Share your thoughts in the comments.
