Generating Wings Procedurally with Geometry Nodes in Blender

Check out this amazing tool made by 3D Artist Jablaya.

Let's name a few difficult tasks that make artists try again and again, and spend hours to get the desired results. For example, you could definitely mention wings with countless feathers that have to work together. Luckily, with tools like Houdini or Geometry Nodes in Blender, the task can be automized eventually. Here's a cool example by 3D artist Jablaya who took time to learn how to use the procedural system to make different birds.

Jablaya says it took tons of nodes to make this but the result is amazing. The video how the final wings can be modified featuring a number of parameters. The artist also shared a look at a more realistic render that shows how the final setup works with lights and basic materials. You can check it out below.

Do you like the final result? What other complex 3D tasks would you like to be automated with Geometry Nodes? Share your thoughts in the comments and don't forget to follow the artist on Twitter
