Take a look at this stylish image, which is a first glimpse at an indie game being created by a solo developer Jesse Makkonen.
The project is in early development, and as the creator states himself, that was the first time he had shared anything about it, so there is not much information. We don't know the game's title yet, but the developer explained that it would be a visual novel with psychological horror elements. Jesse Makkonen described the upcoming game as "poetic, philosophical, psychological, spiritual, and dark as night":
The game's distinctive feature is its original visual reminiscent of The Matrix and giving off eerie vibes. The texture is dynamic, and Jesse Makkonen also showcased an animated version. The color palette has three colors and can be changed.
Jesse Makkonen shared that the style of this project differs from his previous games and takes more time to produce as he has to learn new techniques. The new game's horror-inflected mood will resemble the creator's previous works. One of them is Afterdream, a psychological horror in which the character is lost in a lucid dream and tries to navigate a ghost's mysterious residence:

Another developer's project is DISTRAINT, which is also of the same genre and has a similar style:
