3D Generalist Ilyasse L has shared a free ice material for Blender 4.2's new Thin Film layer on the PBSDF node.

If you've seen this neat ice material on X/Twitter recently, its author 3D Generalist Ilyasse L has kindly decided to share it for free with other Blender artists. Note, that it only works with Blender 4.2 Alpha and the recently introduced Thin Film feature.
Thin Film has been recently added to the Principled BSDF node. A simulation of a film with a custom width along the material and its own IOR, this film interferes with the material and is used to simulate iridescent material and soap bubbles:
