On January 24, Focus Entertainment released an overview trailer for Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, an upcoming off-road driving sim developed by Saber Interactive, which is slated for release on March 5, 2024.

This simulator allows players to embark on scientific expeditions in off-road vehicles, exploring uncharted territories and making archaeological discoveries. The developer promises that we'll see extensive locations that replicate the terrains of Arizona and the Carpathians.

According to the studio, traversing inhospitable grounds in the game will challenge players' driving skills. Each mission will have specific objectives, requiring careful vehicle selection and customization. Tools like winches and adjustable drawbridges are essential for task completion, with successful expeditions unlocking various vehicle upgrades.

AI-controlled experts specializing in mechanics, hydrology, and management will provide travel assistance throughout the game. In total, the sim will offer over 40 missions. Completing these missions will unlock more challenging tasks and allow players to establish camps in new regions. The bases located in these regions can be expanded by adding additional modules and parking spaces.
