Now, the OS is in developer preview.
Huawei announced the launch of its HarmonyOS 3.0 on July 27. Earlier, this version entered a developer beta, now it's going to be official.
HarmonyOS 3.0 will bring improvements in interaction design, multi-device interconnection, better performance and user care.
Harmony's API Version 7 introduces about 6,000 TypeScript and JavaScript APIs, improving the functions of ArkUI, a declarative UI development framework, and ArkCompile.
The HarmonyOS 3.0 Developer Beta version is supported by the P50 series, Mate 40 series and MatePad Pro 2021 model.
Some speculate that Huawei will also present other products on July 27, like Huawei Free Buds Pro 2 headphones, Huawei Smart Screen S Pro 86, MateBook X Pro new models, MatePad Pro 11, and Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro. Let's see if it's true at the end of the month.
The number of Huawei devices keeps growing. Previously, Richard Yu, CEO of the Huawei Consumer Business Group, announced that the number of HarmonyOS devices had exceeded 240 million.
