Jason Schreier's New Book Will Shed Light on the History & Future of Blizzard

On February 5, Jason Schreier, known as a talented reporter from Bloomberg, took to Twitter and announced his next book, Play Nice: The Rise, Fall, and Future of Blizzard Entertainment.

Based on interviews with over 350 people connected to Blizzard, a new book will chronicle the company's journey from "the rise of World of Warcraft to the Activision takeover to a sexual misconduct scandal and, eventually, a $69 billion acquisition."

Schreier has been working on the book for the last three years, and as he stated on Twitter, he's still writing and rewriting it as the events of the past month needed to be included.

Set to release on October 8, 2024, pre-orders for the book are now available. The hardcover edition is priced at $30, while the electronic edition costs $14,99.
