June's Free Unreal Engine Content Includes Weapon Customization System

As usual, thanks to the talented creators at Unreal Engine Marketplace, this month Epic Games presents a new curated set of free content to the Unreal Engine community.

Check out June's haul of free content below, from full-scale environments to Blueprints-powered systems, there's sure to be something that grabs your attention.

Perfect for those developing Norse-themed RPG adventures, this low-poly, top-down Viking interior pack comes with over 400 different props for crafting atmospheric scenes, from vegetation, weapons, and lighting to household items.

Everything is fully modular, enabling you to come up with a myriad of ways to create your own unique Viking interiors. The pack also includes alternate materials and Blueprints for doors, chimneys, candles, and more.

Surrounded by a beautiful pine forest and mountains in a playable area that covers 2.5 km, this watchtower is a great location for players to explore.

Everything in the pack is game-optimized, with vegetation assets offering up to four LODs, over 160 unique meshes, and lighting driven by Lumen.

Another curious environment pack, Science Fiction Valley Town is powered by Nanite and Lumen for Unreal Engine 5 use and comes with LODs, lightmaps, and collisions for those using Unreal Engine 4. Jump straight into the showcase level, complete with four zones including interiors, landing pads, and houses, or build your own environment entirely from scratch.

This modular inventory and equipment system created with Blueprints enables you to quickly and easily design your own item types, including weapons, armor, documents, trade goods, and more. 

Adventurer's Inventory Kit includes gamepad support, stats and rarity system, a smooth and responsive user interface, and comes with a playable demo.

Need to empower your players to create their own guns? Use this weapon customization system for Unreal Engine 5 that can produce over 1.300 unique weapons by enabling the customization of seven different firearm parts and leveraging six skins that can be personalized to different colors.

It even provides a Customization Widget Analysis feature, offering insights into the weapon's strengths and weaknesses.
