Life Sim InZOI Will Get Character Creation Demo and Mod Support

Character Studio, the upcoming demo of the Sims-like UE5-powered game, will be time-limited.

InZOI, a life simulation game that recently appeared on Steam, will have the demo version and mod support. It was announced by its developer, KRAFTON, in partnership with Overwolf, the owner of the mod repository CurseForge.

According to the game's director, inZOI will support mods created by its fans. “inZOI is committed to encouraging easier mod creation and artistic expression from players," said Hyungjun Kim, inZOI's Producer and Director. "By partnering with CurseForge, we are providing a dedicated platform for inZOI mods, ensuring that our community has the best tools and resources to bring their creative visions to life. This collaboration reflects our dedication to fostering a vibrant modding community within inZOI," he continued.

The CEO of Overwolf, Uri Marchand, underscored the importance of fan-created content: "UGC is the present and the future of gaming, driven by a community of passionate creators and players who want to shape their experiences and make gameplay their own. inZOI is the perfect environment for UGC to thrive and we are thrilled to partner with KRAFTON to provide safe, curated modding experiences into highly anticipated inZOI from launch."

Besides, KRAFTON offers a character creation demo, officially called Character Studio, scheduled for August 21. The demo is time-limited: it will be available on Steam until August 25 at 9 PM PT and August 26 at 12 AM ET / 5 AM BST. The demo features 250 customization options. As seen from the game's screenshots, creating a game character, Zoi, probably involves customizing not only their appearance but also their personality.
