Maxon Launches Cinema 4D S26.1

The update introduces a new node UI, support for Field Forces in cloth simulation, Redshift materials and HDRIs, and more.

Maxon has released a new version of Cinema 4D. S26.1 offers a better UI, new maps and materials, and other improvements.

The new node UI interface core offers faster drawing of complex node trees, and nodes can now be dropped on an existing wire. Additionally, the LOD effect while zoomed out has been improved.

Cloth and rope simulation now supports Field Forces and one-sided collisions.

Curvature options within the mesh geometry field can be used in conjunction with other fields to influence falloff, color, and direction.

Moreover, the Volume Builder has been updated to OpenVDB 9 Core, offering better performance.

As for Magic Bullet Looks, Maxon's set of color correction tools, version 16.1 has been integrated for all Cinema 4D users to include Optical Diffusion and Halation tools.

The update also offers over 50 Tiled Surface Imperfection maps from David Gruwier, 26 Redshift Archviz Materials from fuchs+vogel, and 12 Interior and Exterior HDR maps from JorgenHDRI.
