Let's check out improvements introduced in the latest Maya version.

Autodesk has released a new version of Maya. What's inside? The latest version brings Bifrost 2.1, an updated Motion Library plugin, and a number of top-requested animation updates. There's more, of course. Maya 2020.3 features improved Script Editor, an updated ATF plugin, and more. 

Updates:

  • Paint Skin Weights Tool improvements
  • HumanIK: Neck Motion Reduction setting
  • Merge BaseAnimation layer on import
  • New Show Animated Shapes option in the Graph Editor
  • Script Editor improvements: New RMB menu and hotkeys for managing tabs
  • Bifrost 2.1
  • Updated ATF plugin: Catia V5 R6 2020 and JT support
  • Import Standard Surface with FBX
