Publisher Fancom announced the new milestone and revealed that the game is now coming to PS4 and Xbox One.
Developer The Outsiders and publisher Funcom announced that their rhythmic first-person shooter Metal: Hellsinger has reached 1 million players. It took developers less than three months to reach this milestone.
The game was released on September 15 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. And now, together with the announcement of the 1 million figure, Fancom revealed that Metal: Hellsinger is now also available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In addition, the publisher teased a new update for the game that will bring new weapon skins, new combos to learn, and a new difficulty called Archdevil. Archdevil is now the highest of the four difficulties in the game followed by Lamb, Goat, and Beast. According to Fancom, it "pushes the player to the limit, with more, stronger demons coming at them, and no last stand to rely on."
The update also adds a new Elite Seraph demon as well as new combos and the ability to earn additional fury and a higher score if players perform certain actions with specific beats, like killing an enemy, soaring, and then killing another, for example.
