Microphone Detection Added to This Film-Based Survival Horror

Imagine you’re extremely nervous while playing horror games. A sudden noise out of nowhere in real life could make your heartbeat stop for a while. Thanks to the introduction of microphone detection, the horrific creature that’s chasing you in the game will immediately know where you are and crawl right to your front. 

That’s what will happen in A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, a single-player survival horror created by Stormind Games and based on the well-acclaimed A Quiet Place film series. “Discover your own path through the world by observing your environment and leveraging the tools in your surroundings,” reads the game description. 

You are Alex Taylor, a survivor of an invasion who needs to stealth and hide from being hunted by horrific creatures that hunt using only sound. But keeping silent to survive is a hard challenge for you because of the asthma that you’ve been struggling with. The story trailer below provides some useful background information about the protagonist and narrative and gives us a chance to look at the environment of the game:
