In a recent post on Twitter, Focus Entertainment, the publisher of the stealth game A Plague Tale: Requiem, has shared that the number of players has surpassed three million. This milestone was reached 13 months after the game's official release.

"A heartfelt thank you to the 3 million players who embarked on the haunting journey of #APlagueTaleRequiem! Your support and passion mean everything to us," reads the statement on Twitter.

A Plague Tale: Requiem was released on October 17, and just 2 weeks after the initial launch the game surpassed over a million players. Today, with the game reaching over 3 million players who embarked on "a heartrending journey into a brutal, breathtaking world", we can see remarkable growth in the game's audience, with an additional two million players joining within a year.

The game has been warmly received, with an average score of 82 points on Metacritic, based on reviews from critics, and a score of 8.2 from users. On Steam, A Plague Tale: Requiem has a "very positive" review status, with over 91% positive comments.

To celebrate the figures, Focus Entertainment has also shared that it has resumed collaboration with Asobo Studio on "another exciting project". However, no specific details about this project have been revealed yet.
