Greg Russo, who wrote the Mortal Kombat movie, will write and direct the System Shock TV adaptation.
The System Shock TV show was announced back in the fall, now we know that it will be written and directed by Greg Russo, who has previously written the Mortal Kombat TV adaptation.
Aside from Mortal Kombat, Russo has worked on other adaptations including Space Invaders and Saints Row.
"I’m honored to have the opportunity to work alongside the fantastic team at Binge and Nightdive Studios to bring the iconic System Shock franchise to life," said Russo. "I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to make my directorial debut, and I finally found it."
Russo will also executive produce the series alongside Nightdive Studios’ Stephen Kick and Larry Kuperman. The show will be streamed exclusively on Binge.com.
