NCSoft announced its interactive movie Project M back in 2022, and you can now get a glimpse of what's to come in a new GDC trailer. In the video, the CEO Taek-Jin Kim talks about one of the studio's most ambitious projects in a voice generated by AI.
"What would it mean to you if the world was comprised of informational particles, instead of physical particles? How would the fabric of simulated reality change our perceived world if we could temper with the arrangement of those particles?"
These questions inspired the developers to create the game. They promise that the informational particles can transform reality based on your choices and change your experience completely.
The trailer offers some of these realities: encounters with enemies, explosions, and what looks like teleportation.
NCSoft didn't announce the release date but invited everyone interested in the game to the developer talks on April 20.
