Yesterday, Nintendo released its financial report for the past quarter. The report focused on the successful sales of the Nintendo Switch and games such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Following the release of the report, Shuntaro Furukawa, President of Nintendo, engaged in a discussion with investors. During this conversation, Furukawa emphasized that the Nintendo Switch will remain the company's "main business" throughout 2024. However, as noted by Bloomberg, Furukawa didn't share any details or comments regarding plans for a new console release.
Instead, Furukawa highlighted that the company is continuously engaged in the development of both hardware and software.
