NVIDIA's market value surpassed that of Amazon and Google, albeit briefly, reaching a market capitalization of $1.83 trillion with shares over $740. In comparison, Alphabet (Google's parent company) could boast about $1.82 trillion and Amazon – $1.8 trillion at the time.

After the trading was done, NVIDIA settled below the other two tech giants, but the fact it could jump so high is amazing, considering its value was only $300 billion in October of 2022. Now, NVIDIA's market cap is $1.784 trillion, Amazon's is $1.790 trillion, and Alphabet's is settled on $1.841 trillion.

The biggest influence on NVIDIA's value is its AI ventures. The company creates semiconductor chips powering generative AI, an extremely fruitful field nowadays.

According to Forbes, the company's stock's 17,000% gain over the last decade "is by far the best return of any stock on the S&P 500, nearly tripling the return of silver medalist and fellow chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices. A $1,000 investment in Nvidia a decade ago would now be worth about $175,000."

At the moment, Microsoft takes first place in the value rating, followed by Apple and Saudi Aramco.
