The game is being developed with Square Enix.
People Can Fly, the developer behind Outriders and Bulletstorm, announced their plans for the next several years. The studio shared that a game codenamed Project Gemini, developed in the work-for-hire model with its long-time publisher Square Enix, is planned for 2026.
It's not clear what kind of game it is and if it is a new IP or a part of a series.
The company is working on seven projects at the moment. One of them is Project Thunder – a VR game developed by Incuvo, the group subsidiary, which will be launched later in 2023. Incuvo is also working on bringing Green Hell VR to HTC and Sony platforms.
People Can Fly also announced that there are four AAA titles in the pre-production phase, three of them (Project Dagger, Project Bifrost, and Project Victoria) are in the self-publishing model, with launches planned for 2025–2026.
Another game in development is Project Red, which is currently in the concept/ideation stage.
