Could the emulator progress actually push Sony?
Another day, another Bloodborne rumor. Coming from Daniel Richtman, a.k.a. DanielRPK, a pretty well-known insider, it says Sony Interactive Entertainment is working on a new Bloodborne project, although it's unclear whether it's a remake, remaster, or sequel.
The source has previously claimed (via Jivesh) that PlayStation Productions was making a Bloodborne movie together with Lorenzo Di Bonaventura (Transformers) and Darren Lemke (Goosebumps, Shazam!).
With fans starving for Bloodborne, it's no wonder rumors spawn left and right, and this one should be taken with a grain of salt, as usual. Rather, I'd like to use this opportunity to remind you that we might see Bloodborne on PC one day (perhaps sooner than any of the rumors are proven right) thanks to the huge progress the team behind the shadps4 emulator has seen lately.
After a long while, it first managed to open the game on PC and then play it a week later. Moreover, it also appeared on Steam Deck not so long ago.
When all the current issues are fixed, I imagine a lot of people will let their hopes for Bloodborne news rest for a bit, although I know some who refuse to touch the port unless it's made by the original developers.
