A magic of papers.
Publisher Kakehashi Games has revealed Hirogami, a 3D action platformer set in a beautifully crafted paper world.
The game is greatly inspired by traditional Japanese origami (i.e., paper folding) art. Basically, every single element has been made of paper — the map, obstacles, decorations, and the protagonist, Hiro, a master of folding papers who’s on a quest to save the fragile home.

The best part of Hirogami is the ability to shapeshift into forms of various animals, like Armadillos, Frogs, Apes, and more, whenever encountering puzzles along the way. If the platform ahead is too high to jump onto, transform yourself into a piece of paper to be light enough to be blown up and land on it, or be in the form of a frog to get shot upwards by a toadstool like a rocket launch. “Discover new forms to traverse the world, solve puzzles, and best your foes.”

The original soundtracks in Hirogami are created using traditional Japanese instruments and in a Japanese music style, aiming to evoke unique feelings related to the game’s themes, characters, and settings.
Created by Bandai Namco Studios Singapore, the game will be released sometime in 2025, and you already add it to your wishlist on Steam now.
