SideFX Is Hiring for Multiple Projects

SideFX's team is seeking artists and developers to work in Research and Development and Technical Consulting divisions and opening internship programs.

SideFX is looking to expand its team across Research and Development and Technical Consulting. The open positions include 3D Software Developer, Senior Rendering Developer, Houdini Technical Artists, and many more. The company is also opening its internship programs.

SideFX is a winner of various industry awards, including Technical Achievement Awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, an Academy Award of Merit, and a Technology and Engineering Emmy Award from NATAS.

The company is currently searching for both research-oriented and development-oriented staff that will have to work on multiple company's projects promising the applicants "to grow professionally and make significant contributions to the success of [the company's] products". According to the company, the digital artists who apply for the positions will be provided with "the most advanced tools for their craft".

The open positions for the R&D group include:

  • 3D Software Developer
  • Houdini Quality Assurance Specialist
  • Maya Plugin 3D Software Developer
  • Real-Time Rendering Developer
  • Senior In-House Technical Director
  • Senior Rendering Developer
  • Sr. Software Developer: Game Engines

Along with the positions in Research and Development, the company's searching for Houdini Technical Artist that would specialize in games and Houdini Technical Consultant for film and TV.

SideFX is also opening an internship program for its Toronto and Santa Monica offices. The program offers internships in Environment Art, Houdini Education, Houdini Quality Assurance, and Marketing Education.
