Blockade Labs released Skybox AI 0.5 – the latest version of its 360-degree image generator. The update introduces free accounts, which allow you to save your profile, preferences, creations, and favorites – another new feature added with the release. The profiles are now private but the developer promises "social components and user-creatable skybox collections" in the future.
Another great addition is history: you can come back to the skybox you've seen before, making it easier to track your progress and find inspiration.
Skybox AI can generate custom skyboxes based on a text prompt. Last month, Blockade Labs released a Sketch mode, letting you create various images that take into account doodles and lines you make.
And if you'd like to use the tool in Unreal Engine, there is a new plug-in for this.
