Stardew Valley Sold Over 15M Copies

The creator is now developing a new project.

The critically-acclaimed farming simulator Stardew Valley managed to sell 15 million copies, and the developer Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone is now ready to switch to the development of an unannounced project.

The bestseller previously reported the number of 10 million sales at the beginning of 2020. You have to admit that the result is outstanding for a game developed by a single person. Little is known about sales across individual platforms but the 10M news mentioned that half of all the copies were sold on PC.

The game's latest update introduced a number of quality-of-life and endgame features. During the game's first tournament this month, the developer said during a Q&A that he's now focused on his next game, but there might be another update at some point.
