Stick It to the Stickman: A New "Groin-Kicking, Staple-Gunning" Game

Devolver Digital presented Stick It to the Stickman – a new beat 'em up where you'll need to climb the corporate ladder as fast as possible fighting your way through your office colleagues and bosses.

Devolver Digital, the publisher of indie games best known for releasing such titles as Inscryption, Death's Door, and most recently, Cult of the Lamb, revealed Stick It to the Stickman – a new beat 'em up game developed by indie South African studio Free Lives.

As developers describe it, Stick It to the Stickman is set to be a "groin-kicking, staple-gunning, chainsaw-wielding roguelike brawler" filled with hight-impact physics-based combat as well as "copious amounts of coffee, and weaponized farts."

In this game, you'll play as a person who seeks to climb the corporate ladder as fast as possible fighting their way through their office colleagues, middle managers, and bosses to become the head of the worst company in America. Players will need to use a variety of weapons to destroy everyone who gets in their way. Opponents can be killed with bare hands or if you throw cups of hot coffee at them, release hadokens, or simply cut them with an ax.
In the debut trailer, the creators of Stick It to the Stickman showed that more than six types of weapons will be available at the same time. In addition, as you play through the game you'll be able to get powerful upgrades and new "HR-approved" weaponry.

Developers note that your character's career trajectory can be not only vertical – you can also incorporate new subsidiaries, and with each acquisition, you'll be able to see new gameplay, new enemies, new bosses, and new weapons.
