The latest release adds a revamped exporter with new possibilities, new controls for UV unwrapping, improved bakers, Python scripting, and more.
First, the team has introduced an ungraded texture exporter offering more flexibility and control over the export process. The new exporter offers several new options to customize your exported textures. Users can choose a custom file format and bit depth.
The team has also updated presets to match the most recent versions of different renderers, and they’ve added new export presets, such as Maxwell. Check here our tutorial to help you learn how to use the new texture exporter.
Among other things, the update adds a new Curvature baker. It’s RTX accelerated, so you need only a couple of seconds with the right GPU.
